Worcester Woodland Archers

We are a friendly, inclusive field archery club based near Worcester, open to archers of all ages and bow type varieties.  The club is registered with the National Field Archery Society, NFAS.
We used to be called Doverdale Bowmen but relocated to our current site in 2016 and renamed the club to reflect our new location. Click here to find out more.

The woods are open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.  Non club members should call or email to arrange access prior to arrival.

Beginners

We're based near Bransford, Worcester, Worcestershire. Your Sat Nav. may try and take you down back lanes but you are much better approaching on the A4103.

Field Archery

Contact Us

Field archery involves shooting at targets
at varying distances, often in woodland and rough outdoor terrain. British field archery has absolutely nothing to do with hunting, it's a sport of archer versus course layer!

We offer coaching for complete novices and also improver courses.  A beginners course usually consists of six Saturday morning sessions with 1-6 archers of varying ages.

New members or visiting NFAS archers are always welcome. We can also arrange introductory field archery taster sessions for larger groups. To arrange a visit or enquire about joining, please email us at
